AFTER THE 9 TO 5
AFTER THE 9 TO 5
Originally from Brazil, I’ve built a life and career in Canada since 2018, becoming a dual citizen in 2024, embracing both the creative opportunities and the lifestyle shifts that came with it. Adapting to a new environment has been an adventure in itself: trading flip-flops for snow boots, learning to snowboard (still working on the turns!), and developing a deep appreciation for winter in Canada. Some people think I might be crazy for choosing Canada to call home, but I rather have 6 months of cold weather than being sweaty 24/7!
Beyond design and art direction, I’m passionate about storytelling in all forms. I spend a lot of my free time immersed in content creation - filming, editing, experimenting with formats - and I always have a true crime podcast playing in the background. I’m also an avid reader, especially drawn to stories that dive into psychology, culture, and human connection.
I love Toronto - its creative energy, diversity, and how it feels both electric and grounded at the same time. Whether I’m exploring trails just outside the city or grabbing inspiration from a local coffee shop (always in search of a good and strong coffee), I always find something that fuels my creativity.
I believe the best creative work comes from a curious mind, a sprinkle of chaos, and a willingness to explore new perspectives -something that’s been a constant in both my professional journey and my life abroad.
